ABOUT THE SHOW
David Bowie’s art transformed pop music into high art. With “David Bowie Symphony,” an ambitious concert project celebrates this icon in a grand, contemporary way: orchestral sound and rock band merge into an electrifying live experience that makes the work of this visionary newly audible and tangible – respectful, meticulously crafted, and full of emotional depth.
The production is the symphonic extension of “Mr. Bowie – The Reality Show” by singer Milan Devinne. Known for his exceptional vocal range and authentic approach to Bowie’s musical universe, Devinne lends new brilliance to classics such as “Space Oddity,” “Heroes,” “Life on Mars?” and “Let’s Dance.” The arrangements emphasize the dramatic power of the songs without altering their DNA – a tribute delivered with heart, precision, and deep respect.

About “David Bowie Symphony”
A gripping live production that reinterprets Bowie’s greatest songs with orchestral brilliance. With an international ensemble, state-of-the-art sound engineering, and an exclusive pre-show documentary, the production combines emotion, energy, and artistic attention to detail – a vibrant celebration of the legacy of one of the most influential artists in the history of pop music.
Exclusive voices from Bowie’s circle
A special element of the evening is a short documentary shown before the concert begins. It features Richard Young(legendary British photographer of David Bowie, Freddie Mercury, The Rolling Stones, and members of the royal family), Thierry Amsallem (CEO of the Montreux Jazz Festival and close friend of Bowie), and Peter Freestone (long-time personal assistant of Freddie Mercury and collaborator of David Bowie). Their recollections offer a rare, intimate perspective on Bowie’s world and provide the thematic framework for the concert evening.
International team for a world-class sound
The musical direction is entrusted to Italian conductor and arranger Andrea Bonaldo, who unites orchestra and rock band into one cohesive ensemble. On guitar is Peter Pohl, whose work with Falco, Opus, and Supergau makes him one of the most accomplished guitarists in the European rock scene. The audiophile framework is provided by Helmut Scheiber, Austrian sound engineer with references ranging from Status Quo and Boney M to Chris Norman – a guarantee of transparent, powerful sound aesthetics right to the very last row.
Global perspective
Milan Devinne brings extensive international experience – from world tours in the USA, Mexico, and South Africa to solo performances in Japan. This cosmopolitan outlook shapes the artistic direction of the show, which – very much in Bowie’s spirit – transcends cultural boundaries.
